Since 1967, Our Lady of Fatima University has gone through accreditations to be able to attain customer satisfaction as well as International standardization. Through these accreditations, OLFU has produced more globally competitive students. OLFU was granted Autonomous Status last March 2009 by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) for its 'accomplishments, adherence to quality assurance, and commitment to public responsibility and accountability as a higher education institution'. This goes to show that OLFU Graduates are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge through the quality education offered by the Institution. OLFU enables its graduates to aim high, land a job, and fulfill their passion.

The Career and Placement Program can contribute to public objectives, such as making academic systems effective, reducing unemployment in the labor market and improving social justice and integration. Moreover, the program can also motivate the members of the institution to participate in a lifelong learning, develop efficient employability in the world of work and an improved quality of life by assisting the clients to who they are, where they are going and how can they get there. This will also let the individuals come to understand themselves as they relate to the world of work and their lives through career counseling.

Through the Career and Placement Program, OLFU Alumni will be able to enhance their job search interview skills, career objectives and knowledge of the corporate industry. Graduates will also be able to obtain meaningful employment in their area of expertise parallel with their education, experience, and personal goals. More so, this program is also intended for Industry Partners and future employers to assist them in staffing their institution with qualified graduates competent of filling their labor force needs.
