Placement Office

The Our Lady of Fatima University's Central Placement Office (CPO) is the central networking office for students' employment before and after graduation. This office is directly concerned with all matters on employment and placement. It works hand in hand with the Alumni Affairs office and the Guidance Center.

CPO continually dedicates itself in providing the necessary skills and resources to the students and to lead them achieve fulfilling careers.

The Career and Placement Program of the Center for Guidance Services can contribute to public objectives, such as making academic systems effective, reducing unemployment in the labor market and improving social justice and integration. Moreover, the program can also motivate the members of the institution to participate in a lifelong learning, develop efficient employability in the world of work and an improved quality of life by assisting the clients to who they are, where they are going and how can they get there. This will also let the individuals come to understand themselves as they relate to the world of work and their lives through career counseling.

  • Career Counseling

    Decision-making is a process that involves introspect, self-study, planning and time. Students need to develop their ability to make good decisions, clarify their understanding of themselves, and enrich their knowledge of work possibilities in the world. Career counselling is provided to further help the students in assessing and evaluating their short and long-term goals.

  • Career-related Seminars and Workshops

    It is ensured that all graduating students are provided with seminars and workshops that would orient them on the knowledge and skills they need as they enter the world of work. Technical skills for job hunting like resume writing, application-writing, interview skills are the emphasis of such workshops. Competent and highly-skilled speakers and facilitators are invited to provide such knowledge.

  • Job Fairs and other special events

    Job fairs are sponsored by the office to enhance career opportunities and employment connections between qualified students and employers. Through these activities, students are helped to identify and obtain full-time employment opportunities. It allows students and employers to meet and discuss specific details on current job openings.
